Elite Tube uses pre-galvanised ERW steel tube as standard, providing our customers with a quality and durable tube.
Our pre-galvanised finish offers increased protection against corrosion and wear and tear whilst being a low maintenance option – suitable for moist environments, outdoor applications and more.
Unlike hot dipped galvanised tube, the pre-galvanised finish is achieved prior to the manufacture of the tube, which offers increased aesthetic appeal.

What’s the difference between pre-galvanised tube and zinc plated tube?
Both galvanisation and zinc plating methods involve coating steel in a protective layer of zinc. The main difference between the two is how the finishing process is achieved – pre-galvanised tube is a form of in-line galvanising. Zinc plated tube is created through electrolysis – submerging the complete product in an electrolyte solution.
